The Founder

Founder, Christie Barnes, was happily married to writer Peter Barnes, the screenwriter of some of America's most beloved films, including the Oscar nominated Enchanted April, and most popular TV movies, Merlin, Arabian Nights, Leprechauns, A Christmas Carol, Alice In Wonderland, etc.

One day he was out walking in the park with their year old triplets and 4-year-old daughter, the next day he was dead of a stroke.

Christie Barnes, who had worked with her husband in film and television, had to take charge of their large young family and be their guide through all the child dangers and fears of today's life.

Taking command, she has become a crusader for identifying real dangers
to her children and yours, and finding ways to fix what can be fixed.

Most parents say they are afraid of 'everything' when it comes to their children.  Now they can get the facts on child dangers and child safety to stop the majority of parent worries. 

THE CONCEPT

Paranoid Parents is about not worrying.  

1.  The Paranoid Parents Stop Worrying Shoppes provide fixes to major worries.

2.  The Advisory Board of  Experts set the guidelines and Paranoid Parents field test products for the stores and for the Seal of Approval Certification.

3.  The Seal of Approval is the award that products can carry that pass our guideline test process.  These are available for:  food products; bodycare products;  household cleaners; hotels and vacation rentals; educational toys at this this time. 

 Parents can fix most of the major child dangers but blind parent worries stirred up by the media and false perception keep most parents fearful.  Children need to take safe risks to succeed which won't happen with a worrying parent.
