Our Baby Must Have List

Paranoid Parents' Detective Dad investigated baby stores with a prospective first time parent--to be presented with a list of Must Have's five pages long.

They were told that these were the minimum that a new parent needed to prepare for the baby.

What upset Detective Dad as much as the overselling and the guilt being inflicted on the nervous new parent, was that when checking out many products on the list, from models of baby gates to baby bath units, were on the Consumer Reports NEVER BUY THIS FOR YOUR CHILD list or the Pediatric's list of 'do not buys'.

Paranoid Parents selects the one best item--which does not mean 'the cheapest' or 'the most popular'--our best means the safest first and the most practical.  It has to have the highest safety history (if safety record is equal we then choose the most practical.)

THIS DOES NOT MEAN THE MOST EXPENSIVE.  The most expensive does not guarentee safety and ease of use.

Our featured stroller has the highest safety record but also can be collapsed with one hand in under 20 seconds.

Our baby mattress has an internal fan which exceeds the benefits of the fan in the baby's room.  This is the best.

Our high chair is not one that you will struggle with.  Hydraulic coasters, safety lock, and the easiest 'kid loading'...and gorgeous.

The best baby spoon/jar unit so you fill the food, throw in your purse.  When you need to feed baby, take off the spoon lid and squeeze for the perfect portion.

For newborns at risk or mutiples, the advice is often to lower exposure to germs.  Our ultraviolet wands help you keep 'big brother or sister's' germs minimized.  You don't have to totally seclude your newborns, which I was told to do when my triplets were newborns--but how to do keep auntie or big sis 6 feet away.  You try but this helps control winter cold and flu germs.
